What Makes Spring Grove Unique?

• Nippersink - first 3.2 mile leg, now a grade-A stream from its past service as a channelized agricultural ditch. The must-see for everyone is a 6.7-mile stretch through the McHenry County Conservation District?s (MCCD) Glacial Park, an easy two-and-a-half hour paddle.
• Spring Grove Horse Show - has been hosting shows since 1964. A non-for-profit organization that seeks to encourage interest in horses.  Spring Grove Horse Fair has always tried to maintain a friendly atmosphere, where good sportsmanship and having "fun" with your horse is stressed. Horse's can play a key role in the development of our children, as it teaches them to take care of another living being and also to have fun with them.
• The Richardson Farm - includes a 13-acre water park, three specially themed children's areas, and various other forms of entertainment. People from all over the Chicago area come to Richardson?s Corn Maze to experience the 10 miles of trails spread over 25 acres. 
• Bittersweet - is an 18-hole championship public golf facility situated on 240 acres of beautiful property.
